For several decades, since my Grandfather's retirement and the subsequent closing of my family's Bronx plant that he, my Great Great and Great Grandfathers prepared and sold pickles, condiments, restaurant provisions and stocked their fleet of lunch trucks from before the turn of the century through my Grandfather, Mitch Kleckner's retirement.
Armed with their recipes, a lifetime of pickle making and some heavy hitter restaurant industry experience, Star Pickle Works' Owner-President, Scott Kleckner is currently in discussions regarding private label production and packaging of Star Pickle Works classic Kleckner family recipes, as well as updated versions of the classics - always utilizing fresh, seasonal, local family farm sourced produce
